Qualifications

Anchor Pipework Ltd and its associated companies are looking for an experienced Finance Officer to manage the daily financial operations of the businesses. This is a key role with the opportunity to contribute to strategic financial management and ensure the smooth running of core finance functions.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for directors
  • Oversee year-end processes and ensure accurate financial records
  • Manage sales and purchase ledgers, invoicing, and work‑in‑progress tracking
  • Administer PAYE, VAT, CIS returns, and payments
  • Manage reverse VAT
  • Processing nominal ledger journals and adjustments
  • Complete bank reconciliations and produce cashflow forecasts
  • Support the annual budgeting process and departmental financial planning
  • Generating financial reports as required
Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a finance role (construction sector preferred)
  • AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
  • Strong knowledge of CIS and reverse VAT processes (preferred)Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across departments
