Salary: £16- £20 / Hour

Full Time – 37 hours per week
£20.93 Per Hour Umbrella

About the Role

You will be responsible for coordinating and administering regular and ad hoc payments to external service providers using bespoke financial systems. The role involves close liaison with internal teams and service providers to ensure payments are accurate, efficient and completed within agreed timescales. You will also provide administrative and financial support across key service areas, including SEND, CHAD and Direct Payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process scheduled and one-off payments using bespoke finance systems.
  • Investigate and resolve finance queries from internal teams and external providers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide administrative support to senior finance colleagues, including maintaining databases and spreadsheets.
  • Support the accurate interpretation and explanation of contractual and financial requirements.
  • Ensure strong attention to detail in all financial and administrative tasks.
What We’re Looking For
  • A-level qualifications (or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a finance environment, including processing invoices and using financial systems.
  • Ability to clearly explain financial and contractual information to members of the public.
  • Understanding of financial regulations and payment terms.
  • Proven ability to raise queries and see them through to resolution.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Diplomatic and confident in managing potentially challenging situations.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet conflicting deadlines.
