About the Role

This is a role where Finance meets Business Support. Due to continued growth, a new role has been created and we are seeking an Office Manager/Business Support Executive who is as equally strong to take on the finance responsibilities across the company. This is not your typical finance role! Finance accounts for around 70% of the position, (although it requires more than just inputting invoices, you will prepare weekly/monthly financial reports), while the rest of the work is focused on business support, administration, and light PA duties.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is at least part-qualified in finance and really enjoys a varied role in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

Your day will be varied and impactful, including:

Finance Support
  • Process supplier invoices, staff expenses, and payment runs
  • Maintain ledgers and reconcile accounts
  • Assist with payroll administration and timesheet checks
  • Prepare weekly/monthly financial reports for management
  • Assist with budget monitoring and variance reporting
  • Support audits and VAT returns
Business Support & PA Duties
  • Organise meetings, agendas, and minutes
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve queries and chase outstanding payments
  • Arrange travel and accommodation
  • Assist with compliance activities and internal audits
  • Provide PA support to the MD and Senior Leadership Team
HR Administration
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases
  • Support the team with recruitment and onboarding
  • Track absences, holidays, and training records

Travel within the UK may be required from time to time.

What We’re Looking For
  • Part-qualified in a recognised finance qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in finance administration
  • Experience with accountancy systems and finance practices
  • Strong organisational skills and proactive approach
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Discretion and professionalism with sensitive information
