A long-established family-owned business in Glasgow is seeking a Part-Time Finance Manager. This role involves producing accurate financial reports, managing cash flow and payroll, and improving financial systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Xero, be highly organized and comfortable working with senior leadership. Clyde Paper & Print is a long-established, family-owned business based in Glasgow. Founded in 1977, we have continued to grow by adapting to a changing market and now supply a wide range of digital printing papers, corporate print and luxury presentation packaging to a diverse UK client base.
We are now recruiting for a Part-Time Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function and bring together responsibilities previously managed across the business and external accountants into one dedicated role.
This is a hands-on, operational finance role with real ownership. Reporting to the Commercial Director and working closely with the Managing Director, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely financial information, managing cash flow, payroll, budgeting and forecasting, and acting as the main point of contact for our external accountants.
You will also line‑manage our Finance Assistant and play a key role in improving systems, controls and efficiencies, particularly through the use of Xero.
The role is office based and offers flexibility on working days and hours, totalling around 20–25 hours per week.
Previous experience managing or supervising a finance team member is desirable.
