About Our Client

Job Description
  • Oversee the end-to-end financial control of stock valuations and inventory for the Finance Department
  • Ensure accurate and timely stock reconciliation between financial records and physical stock counts.
  • Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to maintain effective inventory controls and minimise stock discrepancies.
  • Analyse stock movements / Transactions to identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend appropriate actions.
  • There is elements of Finance Business Partnering
  • Prepare and review stock-related financial reports, forecasts, and budgets - Supporting the Finance Director
  • Lead month-end and year-end stock accounting processes, including impairment reviews and stock adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and relevant regulatory standards related to stock management.
  • Support ERP system integration or enhancements related to stock finance modules.
  • Train and manage finance team members involved in stock accounting.
The Successful Applicant
  • This opportunity with suit a confident communicator with ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders from various divisions of the organisation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional Qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred. (Studier)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling, management Accounting with exposure to stock / inventory accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of stock valuation principles, inventory control, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with ERP systems. Very confident Excel user.
