About the role

I am currently working on an exciting opportunity to join a Manufacturing organisation with offices in London and the surrounding areas. This role sits in the London office and as Finance Manager you will support the overall finance function and the wider team. The position requires an experienced, hand‑on professional with the ability to lead a team.

  • Overseeing the month end process including budget preparation, forecasting, management reporting and strategic analysis.
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliation, cash flow and consolidated reporting packs.
  • Assist junior staff with any queries and oversee as well as monitor their work.
  • Assist the SLT by providing financial reports and general ad‑hoc requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, statutory requirements, and accounting standards.
  • Share useful information and explain difficult information to non-financial professionals.
  • Manage year-end accounting preparations and liaise with external auditors and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the improvement of financial processes, reporting and general controls.
  • Support the Finance Director with system improvement and increasing process efficiency.

In order to be considered for this role candidates will ideally hold a professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have strong analytical skills which enable them to interpret and present financial data. A background in the manufacturing, construction or property sector will enable you to have the transferable skills to undertake this role. Strong communication skills with both finance and non-finance professionals, interpersonal skills and the ability to understand the operations of a business are a requirement.

The company offices are situated in North London and have various transport links to the surrounding areas. They currently operate a 5 day working week and work in a very collaborative environment.
