As Finance Manager, you'll be the finance lead on-site, acting as a true business partner to operational and commercial teams. This is a hands-on role with high visibility and impact, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with production, supply chain, and commercial teams.

Description

Key Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day financial management of the manufacturing site
• Lead and develop a team of 2 direct reports
• Drive operational and commercial analysis to support margin improvement and cost control
• Deliver accurate and timely weekly and monthly reporting, KPIs, and variance analysis
• Collaborate with the site leadership team to improve financial performance and productivity
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
• Monitor inventory, production costing, and overheads to ensure financial accuracy
• Act as a finance business partner across departments, challenging and supporting where needed
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and external financial standards

Profile

• Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)
• Strong experience in a manufacturing environment - ideally food/FMCG
• Proven track record in operational and commercial finance
• Excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills
• Experience managing and developing small teams
• Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable being site-based and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
