Job summary

A well-established financial services company in the City of Westminster is seeking a Finance Director to lead finance through a profitable phase leading to a potential sale. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Finance Director, ACA qualification, and familiarity with Series A/B/C fundraising as well as Blockchain technologies. Responsibilities include preparing board reports, managing a finance team, and overseeing financial planning and cashflow management.

Qualifications

• Previously held a Finance Director position.
• Experience in Series A/B/C fundraising.
• Experience in the tech sector/start-up environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare board reports and present to external stakeholders.
• Lead and manage a finance team, reporting to the CEO.
• Handle financial planning, cashflow management, and balance sheet control.
• Produce regular cashflow forecasts and identify risk factors.
• Generate finance through investment appraisal and equity finance.
• Oversee consolidation of month-end reporting and internal controls.
• Propose cost-saving ideas across the business.

Education

ACA Qualified / Chartered Accountant
