Job Description

• Oversee and manage all financial operations within the organisation
• Implement and maintain financial systems and processes
• Ensure financial control and robustness of the organisation
• Develop and manage the budget in line with strategic plans
• Provide strategic input on financial planning and business decisions
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with the board and senior management team on strategic decision making
• Represent the organisation to financial partners and the authorities.

The Successful Applicant

• A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Proven experience in a Finance Director role within the not-for-profit sector
• A strong understanding of financial systems and procedures
• Excellent strategic planning skills and the ability to contribute to organisational strategy
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a finance team
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
