• Must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting and financial control background required.
• Experience in professional services / consultancy or project-based environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own financial control across the UK business and group entities.
• Lead, develop and mentor the finance team.
• Manage month-end close, statutory reporting, audit and tax compliance.
• Oversee cashflow, working capital and banking requirements.
• Act as a trusted finance partner to senior operational and commercial stakeholders.
• Review and challenge budgets, forecasts and expenditure.
• Strengthen financial governance, controls and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, processes and reporting.
