A growing engineering firm in Warwick is seeking a part-time Finance Controller to handle bookkeeping, VAT returns, and budget management. The role offers flexible hours between 18-25 hours per week and can accommodate family commitments with some hybrid working. Experience with Xero and an understanding of Sage Line 50 are ideal. Qualifications

Job description

Innovative and growing engineering company based in Warwick, looking to recruit a part-time Finance Controller, for ideally 18-25 hours per week. Full time can also be considered.

Hours can be flexible to suit around family commitments and school holidays. Some hybrid working available, but needs to be office based at least twice a week.

R53 suspension, is a leading motorsport company operating at a high-level motorsport (GT Racing, Formula E, WRC…) and high performance automotive.

Bookkeeping and management accounts duties to include:
  • VAT returns, international VAT. Duty deferment.
  • Implementing purchase system controls
  • Post purchase invoices onto accounting system
  • Allocate payments
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Implementing sales system controls
  • Control of debtors
  • Stock control. Interaction with new MRP system.
  • Reconcile banks
  • Cash management
  • Working with budgets and reporting
  • Experience of Xero and an understanding of Sage Line 50 would be ideal.

This is a new in-house role as a result of business growth, that could grow for the right candidate.
