Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Business Finance Warehousing & Logistics, the Finance Business Partner will be responsible for managing the financial performance of two major customers at Iron Mountain's Rugby campus. Acting as a trusted finance partner, this role provides insights and analysis to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring financial commitments are met. This position plays a key part in supporting Iron Mountain's growth strategy, particularly in contract logistics and on-demand storage.
- Lead weekly performance reviews, forecasting, and budgeting for two major contracts on an open-book basis.
- Track and manage contract profitability, providing insights on key drivers and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Serve as a financial advisor to operational and commercial leaders, translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations.
- Challenge assumptions and provide proactive, value-adding recommendations to improve operational and commercial performance.
- Align short-, medium-, and long-term financial insights and risk assessments with business objectives.
- Contribute to customer-facing monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews (MBRs and QBRs).
Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification preferred.
- Proven experience in a finance business partnering role within logistics, distribution, or supply chain sectors.
- Significant experience managing financial performance for commercial contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and influence senior non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of key business drivers in a 3PL environment. Excellent communication, analytical, and influencing skills with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
