A healthcare organization in Kettering is seeking a Finance Business Partner to lead a team of management accountants in delivering high-quality financial management. The role involves supporting budget holders, producing meaningful financial reports, and enhancing service delivery in a dynamic environment. The Finance Business Partner reports to the Head of Financial Management. The main duties are leading a team of management accountants in the delivery of a high-quality service for the leaders and managers within the directorate. This includes all aspects of financial management, supporting the budget holders, overseeing, and giving expert advice to the business units by identifying, collating and analysing key information from operational and support services to produce meaningful and insightful reports. The role also includes an element of NHSE monthly reporting, compiling robust auditable working papers and assisting in the preparation of the month 9 and year end accounts.

The financial management team seeks to achieve optimum value for money in all of the trusts services. It does this by supporting managers to understand the economy, efficiency and effectiveness of the resources within their control. The post holder will need to produce insightful financial analysis and be persuasive when dealing with conflicting priorities. Ensuring financial opportunities and risks are quantified and understood by a variety of stakeholders.
This post is based in Kettering but the postholder must be able to travel independently to other bases in the Trust across Northamptonshire. Part-time would be considered.

We focus on delivering care that is as easy to access as possible and services can be provided at home, work or in schools. We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
