Reed Accountancy are delighted to be partnering with a reputable organisation in Bradford that is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team. This is a hybrid 12-week interim position, and they require someone who can start asap. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in producing and analysing financial reports for Budget Reports.

  • Provide clear, timely financial information to help budget holders manage budgets.
  • Monitor spending, investigate variances and ensure correct coding.
  • Produce monthly budget reports and meet with budget holders to discuss key issues.
  • Provide financial advice, analysis, and ad-hoc reports.
  • Support annual budget preparation and update budgets in SAP with proper approval.
  • Review budgets against previous years and advise on financial impacts of new projects.
  • Support year-end processes, including accruals and producing outturn reports.
  • Support investment and borrowing transactions and update banking records.
  • Help prepare cashflow forecasts by gathering spending information.
  • Contribute to improving finance systems, processes and departmental projects.
  • Assist with planning, performance monitoring and KPIs.

You will need to demonstrate:

  • AAT qualified or part-qualified
  • Extensive knowledge of financial procedures and managing a budget monitoring process
  • Experience developing and improving financial monitoring systems
  • Experience preparing financial reports for budget holders
  • Excellent IT and analytical skills
