Job description

We’re looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing clear financial insight to support decision‑making, investment planning and project delivery. You will be working closely with the Finance team of a Housing Association based in Birmingham.

Key responsibilities
  • Partner with budget holders to provide robust financial advice and challenge
  • Produce and review management accounts, forecasts and variance analysis
  • Support business cases, investment appraisals and project accounting
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting for assigned areas
  • Present financial insight in a clear, practical way to non‑finance stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial controls, processes and reporting
About you
  • Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Experience in management accounts, budgeting and forecasting
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills
  • Confident working with large data sets and translating numbers into insight
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, analysis)
  • Comfortable working autonomously and to tight deadline
