Job description

A highly regarded organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial and commercial support across multiple operational divisions. This is a pivotal role, delivering financial insight, driving business performance, and supporting key decision‑making in a dynamic, high‑performing environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior management as a trusted finance partner, leading budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes while providing commercial analysis and insights to support operational and strategic decision.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with divisional leaders to provide timely and relevant financial and commercial information
• Design and deliver profitability and performance reports to support decision making
• Lead annual budget setting, forecasts, and monthly management accounts processes
• Support and challenge business leaders on cost management, service delivery, and revenue generation initiatives
• Conduct detailed commercial analysis of products, services, and pricing strategies
• Support business cases for income‑generating opportunities and grant funding applications
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth audit delivery
• Collaborate with project managers on capital spend, budgeting, and recharging processes
• Manage and develop a small team

The Person:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Experience of implementing cost reduction plans, and/or improving profitability
• Previous Business Partnering experience within a commercial environment
• Ability to work within a fast paced environment
• Excellent commercial acumen
