Job summary

A well-established client in Stevenage is seeking a Finance Assistant for a fully office-based position. The ideal candidate will manage the purchase and sales ledger, record credit card expenditures, and handle supplier invoices using Sage 50. Advanced Excel skills and experience in credit control are essential. The role offers a salary of £27,300 per annum and standard working hours from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within Sales ledger and Purchase ledger.
  • Excellent knowledge of Sage 50 software.
  • Advanced excel skills: Pivot tables, V lookups.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Purchase and Sales Ledger.
  • Record Credit Card expenditure matching receipts.
  • Scanning and loading supplier invoices on to Sage.
  • Managing Aged Debt via calls and emails to customers.
  • Prepare Supplier Invoice Payment support for payment runs.
  • Match Bank Receipts and Payments to Sage invoices.
