We are partnering with a rapidly growing business service provider in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant on a part-time or full-time, permanent basis. Our client, who has grown extensively in recent years, is excited to be expanding their team and offer this exciting opportunity to a finance professional who is keen to excel in their career in a thriving business.

The business is keen to hear from finance professionals who are skilled across a wide range of financial duties, including sales ledger, purchase ledger, and end-to-end payroll processes. As a Finance Assistant, you will oversee a variety of key tasks essential for the smooth sailing of our client’s finance function.

This includes:

  1. Maintaining the business's sales & purchase ledger
  2. Positive relationship upkeep with the business’s key clients & suppliers
  3. Enter & correctly store employee data on the payroll system
  4. Process wages, including overtime, deductions & maternity, etc.

The role of Finance Assistant will best be suited to somebody with the following skills & attributes:

  1. Previous experience in payroll, purchase & sales ledger
  2. Strong interpersonal skills
  3. Punctual & organised
  4. Proficient in a range of financial systems
