Full time hours on a temporary basis

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Finance Accountancy Officer to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, who thrives in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Process invoices, payments, and journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve financial queries.
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified or equivalent; progression towards ACCA/CIMA is a plus.
• Previous experience in a finance or accountancy role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks).
