A power protection services company is seeking a Field Service & Commissioning Engineer based in Aberdeen. This position involves delivering a full range of field and workshop-based engineering services, ensuring safe execution of service projects. Candidates should have a time-served electrical apprenticeship, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and experience in offshore or marine environments. We are now looking for a Field Service & Commissioning Engineer based out of Aberdeen support our growing service operation. This role is not purely commissioning-based and will suit someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and working across service, maintenance, upgrades, life extension and commissioning activities.
Based in Aberdeen, you will deliver a full range of field and workshop-based engineering services, supporting customers across the UK, overseas, offshore and marine sectors.
Your primary responsibility is the safe execution of service-related projects, ensuring SIM Switchgear continues to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
