Are you someone who enjoys hands‑on work, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and takes pride in being part of a mission that matters? Daniels Health is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team and help support 2 Bon Secours hospitals with critical medical waste services.

This is not a desk job—you’ll be on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day.

Locations
  • Memorial Regional Medical Center – 8260 Atlee Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23116
  • Richmond Community Hospital – 1500 N 28th St, Richmond, VA 23223
Responsibilities
  • Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
  • Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
  • Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
  • Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
  • Using a company‑provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
  • Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
  • Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
Qualifications
  • Someone who’s physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on‑the‑go work.
  • A team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail—especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • A can‑do attitude and previous experience in a labor‑intensive or logistics role.
