Job summary
InPost UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to repair parcel lockers on client sites across the UK. You will diagnose faults, perform maintenance, and implement hardware and software upgrades to keep networks running smoothly.
This hands-on role requires travel, strong problem solving, and clear training for staff and subcontractors. You’ll contribute to developing new solutions and maintaining technical documentation, with occasional visits to Hemel Hempstead.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing equipment with software configuration and firmware updates.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide technical training.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults and malfunctions of parcel locker machines on site, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintain and modernise parcel locker machines through hardware and software upgrades.
- Configure software/firmware and ensure security compliance across equipment.
- Manage repair reporting and documentation.
