Job summary
InPost UK is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to repair parcel lockers on client sites, with duties spanning hardware maintenance, software configuration, and technical support. You will work across the UK, and occasionally internationally, to modernise systems and ensure reliability.
The role requires experience in field service engineering on electrical and mechanical equipment, with strong diagnostic skills and the ability to train employees and subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Experience in field service engineering on electrical/mechanical equipment.
- Proficient with hand tools and diagnostic tools (multimeter).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; able to train others.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults on parcel locker machines on client sites.
- Maintain and modernise locker hardware and software.
- Configure software/firmware and ensure security compliance.
- Prepare technical manuals and documentation; support subcontractors.
- Travel across the UK and occasionally international sites to service markets.
