Job summary

InPost UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the Network Health team. The role involves hands-on repair of parcel lockers on client sites, with responsibilities covering break-fix, maintenance and software configuration.

You will diagnose faults, upgrade hardware/software, and prepare technical manuals while supporting employees and subcontractors. Occasional travel across the UK and training near Hemel Hempstead are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service technical engineering on electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Proficient with hand tools and diagnostic tools.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on parcel locker machines on site, minimizing downtime.
• Maintain and upgrade hardware and software to improve reliability.
• Configure software/firmware and ensure security compliance.
• Document repairs and report progress through internal channels.
• Manage tools and components for locker machines.
• Provide technical training to employees and subcontractors.
• Contribute to developing new locker solutions and update manuals.
