Job summary
InPost UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to repair parcel lockers on client sites across the UK, with occasional international travel. You’ll handle break-fix, maintenance, software configuration, and training for staff and subcontractors.
The role requires hands-on engineering experience, diagnostic skills, and the ability to work across multiple markets. A company van is provided for business use with potential office visits in Hemel Hempstead.
Qualifications
- What we need from you: Field service experience on electrical/mechanical equipment.
- Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic tools (multimeter).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; able to train others.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on site in parcel locker machines, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintenance and modernisation including hardware and software upgrades.
- Diagnostics, reconfiguration and installation of software/firmware for equipment.
- Reporting on repairs using internal channels and documenting actions.
- Managing tools and components for parcel locker machines.
- Providing technical training to employees and subcontractors.
