Responsibilities

  • Plan and complete customer site visits across the region.
  • Diagnose faults and repair laboratory equipment.
  • Carry out equipment surveys and installations.
  • Deliver customer and distributor training (on site and in-house).
  • Perform routine servicing, preventative maintenance and calibration.
  • Respond to customer calls and emails professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Field Service Engineer

Region: South of England (with occasional UK-wide travel)

Type: Full-Time, Field-Based

About the Company

Our client design and manufacture advanced medical device equipment used in research and medical laboratory environments worldwide. With a friendly, supportive team and a strong commitment to quality, they are now looking to expand their field service capability.

The Opportunity

They are seeking a highly organised and experienced Field Service Engineer to support customers across the South of the UK, with occasional travel to the North when required. You will carry out servicing, repairs, installations, preventative maintenance, calibration and customer training on specialist laboratory equipment. This position suits someone who is confident working independently, able to manage their own schedule, and comfortable travelling regularly.

Full product training will be provided; however, previous experience in a similar field-based engineering role is essential.
