Field Service Engineer, Medical CT Imaging Systems

We are a leading supplier of medical imaging equipment and are seeking a customer‑focused Electronics Engineer to join our qualified team as a field service engineer for advanced medical CT imaging systems. This vacancy is being advertised by TRS Consulting.

Overview

As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for the service, repair, breakdown and maintenance of our range of highly advanced medical imaging systems at hospitals and healthcare centres.

Responsibilities

• Provide field service support for medical CT imaging systems, including troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electronics and cap‑equipment components in a workshop or field service environment.
• Maintain technical documentation and update service logs for all service activities.
• Travel to hospitals and healthcare centres to perform onsite service and repair.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC / NVQ Level 3 in electronics or another relevant technical discipline.
• Background working in a field service or workshop capacity within an electronics capital equipment environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of electronics and medical imaging equipment.
• Excellent customer care and communication skills.

Benefits

Basic Salary £40,000 to £45,000, rising to £50,000 plus in the future, salary review and pay rise after 6 & 12 months.
