Overview

My client is seeking a motivated and skilled field service engineer to join their expanding team. You’ll play a key role in servicing, repairing, and compliance testing a wide range of healthcare equipment and medical devices used across hospitals and community healthcare settings in and around Manchester.

Key Responsibilities

Service, repair, maintain, and test a variety of equipment, including :

  • Hoists and stand aids
  • Ceiling / gantry hoists
  • Acute and community profiling beds
  • Active mattress systems
  • Trolleys
  • Specialised baths

Plan and prioritise daily workload effectively to complete service visits within agreed timescales.

Carry out all work safely, in accordance with company procedures and current legislation.

Complete all documentation accurately and promptly before leaving customer sites.

Deliver outstanding customer service with a positive, solution-focused attitude.

  • Proven experience as a field service engineer or in a similar technical service role.
  • Fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites across the region if required.
  • Must hold or be able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
