Job description

Our client is a leading supplier of vehicle wash machinery and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Field Service Engineer electrical bias.

We are seeking an electrical bias field service engineer who will undertake machine installations, maintenance and repair work throughout the UK.

Salary £40K -£44K +OT +Van + Bonus OTE £48K -£50K

Role

Reporting to the service manager you will be responsible for 3‑phase electrical & mechanical installation, service and repair of commercial vehicle wash equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with vehicle wash machinery installation and commissioning
  • Attend machinery breakdowns and carry out fault finding and repair work
  • Undertake scheduled planned maintenance checks
  • Ensure accurate visit reports, including details of work undertaken/completed, are recorded on the computer system
Candidate

You will be a multi‑skilled engineer with excellent electrical and mechanical engineering skills.

You will have a recognised electrical engineering qualification (e.g. 18th edition, HNC/NVQ 3) and good mechanical skills as well.

Previous work experience with vehicle wash machinery or high‑pressure wash systems would be beneficial but is not essential; training will be provided.

You will be computer literate and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be comfortable working outdoors.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday 45 hours
