Job Title : Field Service Engineer – Industrial Laundry

Location : Kent (field-based)

Salary : £36,000 basic + bonus

Hours : Monday to Friday

On-call : 1 in 4 weekends

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our service team supporting industrial laundry equipment across customer sites in Kent and surrounding areas. This is a field‑based role offering strong earning potential, excellent benefits, and a healthy work‑life balance.

You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, fault‑finding, and repair of commercial and industrial laundry machinery, working independently while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain, and repair industrial laundry equipment at customer premises
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Install and commission new equipment where required
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers
  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately
  • Participate in a 1‑in‑4 weekend on‑call rota
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
Skills & Experience
  • Electrical bias essential, with solid mechanical knowledge
  • Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar
  • Backgrounds considered :

  • Residential white goods / domestic appliances
