Field Service Engineer

Head office based: Burton Latimer, Kettering. Opportunities available across the South West covering Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Hampshire, plus. This opportunity is based out of Devizes.

Hours: Monday to Friday 42.5 hours per week with opportunity for overtime at 1x5. You are also required to work such additional hours as may be necessary for the proper performance of your duties or that may be required to fulfil role.

Job Role

Responsible for commissioning, maintenance and servicing of equipment and plant machinery.

Responsibilities
  • Repair, maintain, and service materials handling equipment
  • Repair or replace faulty parts
  • Request parts via PDA
  • Report to Service Co-ordinator for scheduled work
  • Maintain and develop relationships with customers
  • Follow Service Team procedures
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for effective performance of the role and attend training courses as required
  • Adhere to TBG companies Quality and Compliance responsibilities, and policies and procedures
  • Adhere to Health & Safety responsibilities and procedures
