AV Field Service Engineer
Location: Home-based, covering London (with some UK & Europe travel)

About the Role: Are you an experienced AV Field Service Engineer who thrives on troubleshooting and solving technical challenges? We are representing a fast-growing technology company specialising in cutting-edge audio-visual communication and collaboration solutions. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated AV Field Service Engineer to deliver industry-leading support for both new installations and service-only client contracts. Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site AV technical support to clients across London, with occasional travel across the UK and Europe.
- Deliver remote support via phone, email, video call and remote access sessions.
- Ensure service level agreements are met, responding promptly and professionally.
- Troubleshoot and maintain AV and VC systems (e.g. Crestron, Q-SYS, Logitech, Shure, Poly, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Dante Controller).
- Deliver ad hoc end-user training to ensure systems are used effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work, including commissioning updates and service visit reports.
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance visits and provide clear reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve service processes and contribute ideas to enhance client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other teams to share insights, scope additional AV/VC work, and support ongoing service contracts.
Working with the Wider Team
- Work closely with colleagues, providing advice and support on AV matters.
- Use company systems diligently (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Freshdesk, Teams).
- Liaise with the commissioning team for handovers and post-install support.
- Mentor junior AV engineers when required.
- Coordinate with delivery and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of parts and equipment.
- Support company welfare, appraisals and team-building initiatives.
