Overview

Job Title: Field Sales Consultant
Salary: £26,000 & £2,400 car allowance & fuel card (we’ve got your travel covered)
Commission: Uncapped commission structure (OTE up to £50K)
Location: Preston (100% field-based)

SMART Utilities is a key division of the wider Bionic Group, plays a crucial role in our overall success. They are our Field Sales Reps who are the backbone of their community, engaging directly with customers and building strong relationships by prospecting to potential customers within their territory.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

1. Proactively source new business opportunities and generate leads by engaging with both prospective and existing customers in your territory.
2. Deliver tailored, consultative solutions across our switching services, including energy, telecoms, and insurance.
3. Manage the full sales cycle, from generating the lead, through to closing deals alongside our pricing team.
4. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, leveraging referrals from your customer base.
5. Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for your customers, providing outstanding service and ongoing support.
6. Strategically plan your days in the field, managing your own schedule to maximise new business opportunities.
7. Consistently achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

1. Some experience working within sales - whether that\'s office-based sales, door knocking or prospecting; this will enable you to have the foundation on which we can build through training, coaching and support
2. Strong prospecting, pitching, objection handling, and solution-presenting skills.
3. Proven ability to close sales by gaining commitment and influencing customers.
4. Excellent pipeline management skills.
5. Strong verbal and numerical reasoning with high attention to detail.
6. Resilient, able to stay focused under pressure, and target driven.
7. Self-motivated and eager to achieve sales goals and targets.
8. Open to coaching, feedback, and continuous professional development.
9. Full, clean UK driving licence with valid car insurance; business insurance must be added to the vehicle prior to starting. A monthly car allowance and fuel card are provided.
10. Comfortable working in a field-based role with travel across the assigned territory.
