Overview

As our fundraisers engage with the public daily, we need to ensure we recruit the best people. This means those with the right skills, experience and background that support our ambitions. We are looking for people with a great personality, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive, driven ambassador who is motivated to reach and surpass targets, working on your own initiative.
• Engage with customers in a voluntary or paid environment, using your communication skills to interact with the public and build immediate face-to-face rapport.
• Represent our charity partners at private sites, including shows, events, supermarkets, town centres, shopping centres and transport hubs; ensure venues are pre-booked by our in-house venues team and aim to maximise donor sign-ups.
• Be prepared to work outdoors in all weather and on Saturdays, when sign-ups peak.
• Hold a Full UK Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle.
• Attend the 1-hour Fundraiser Experience in the field with an experienced fundraiser to understand the job and demonstrate conversational skills with the public.
