This is a great opportunity to join our team as a Field Interviewer working for the Office for National Statistics via AMS. As a Field Interviewer carrying out official surveys you will help inform government about the state of the nation.
The role will start with five weeks of comprehensive training to ensure your success. The Field Interviewer role involves visiting sampled addresses to encourage survey participation and interviewing respondents in their homes. This role is not office based. You are required to work within a 40-mile radius (approx.) of an allocated location. Work will be allocated to ensure you can travel and complete your tasks within your contracted hours in this area. Consider how your home location compares to your chosen location preference when applying.
This role offers flexible working hours broadly equivalent to 22 hours per week. Interviews will need to be conducted between 09:00 and 20:00, with potential for admin and travel time outside of these hours. Interviewers will work across mornings, afternoons and evenings and are contracted to work Monday to Saturday.

Assessment at application stage will be based on work history, skills and experience and a personal statement. Successful applicants will be invited to a video interview lasting 30–45 minutes.
