Job description
Field Installation Manager

Luxury Bespoke Interiors Business – Essex / Cambridge Region (Field‑Based) – £45,000 + Car/Allowance

Looking for a role where craftsmanship, problem‑solving and leadership come together? This is an opportunity to step into a senior field‑based installation role within one of the UK's most respected luxury bespoke kitchen and fitted furniture businesses – a brand synonymous with quality, precision and six‑figure projects.

Following continued growth the business is now seeking an experienced Field Installation Manager to take ownership of installations across Essex and Cambridgeshire. This is not a desk role. This is a hands‑on, highly visible position at the heart of the customer journey, where exceptional installations are delivered, standards are protected, and clients experience the finished product exactly as promised.

The Role

As Field Installation Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all installations within your allocated region, acting as the main point of contact for both fitting teams and clients from survey through to final sign‑off. Every day brings new challenges, requiring organisation, decisiveness and a calm, solutions‑focused approach. You'll be trusted to uphold the brand's reputation on site, ensuring every project meets exacting standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing all installations within your postcode allocation
  • Overseeing the full installation lifecycle – from survey handover to live fit and final sign‑off
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the installation process
  • Managing and supporting fitting teams, painters and subcontractors on site
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with company specifications and quality standards
  • Maintaining standards across fitting teams, vans, tools and equipment
  • Resolving on‑site issues and client queries quickly and professionally
  • Managing client expectations and ensuring a positive, premium experience
  • Ensuring all payments are received in line with agreed terms

You'll be on the road regularly, visiting installations, supporting teams and solving problems in real time.

About You

This role will suit someone who thrives in a field‑based, fast‑moving environment and takes real pride in delivering exceptional finished projects.

Experience within the Kitchen, Bedroom or Bathroom (KBB) sector is highly desirable, particularly where you've been close to installations, fitting teams or site management. Luxury experience is beneficial, but not essential. Attitude, organisation and leadership matter most.

You'll likely bring:
  • Experience within fitted furniture, kitchens, bedrooms or bathrooms
  • Strong technical understanding of installations and site processes
  • Confidence managing multiple installations and stakeholders simultaneously
  • A professional, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
  • A calm, solutions‑driven mindset – every day is a problem‑solving day
  • High personal standards and pride in presentation and workmanship
  • Willingness to travel extensively as part of a field‑based role
Why This Role Stands Out

This is a rare opportunity to join a market‑leading British luxury interiors business that is widely recognised as one of the very best in the KBB world. You'll be trusted with high‑value projects, given autonomy in your region, and play a critical role in protecting the brand's reputation at the final and most important stage – installation. If you're looking to step up, take ownership, and be part of a business where quality genuinely comes first, this role offers long‑term stability and progression.
