Job summary

RES Limited in East England is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer who will conduct technical site surveys, design heat pump solutions, and deliver on-site quotations.

You will liaise with installers and homeowners, ensure MCS compliance, and provide remote technical support while travelling within the region.

Qualifications

Experience conducting technical site surveys and producing on-site quotations.
Ability to produce heat loss calculations and system designs.
MCS standards and Building Regulations knowledge.
Consultative mindset to translate data for non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

Conduct technical site surveys, agree specifications, produce on-site quotations, commission heat pump systems, and handover.
Prepare room-by-room heat loss calculations, designs and performance assessments; compile technical proposals and quotations; maintain CRM records.
Act as Nominated Technical Supervisor for regional MCS projects ensuring compliance with standards.
Provide phone-based and remote technical support; maintain relationships with installers.
