Job summary

RES Limited is recruiting a Field Based Technical Sales Engineer to conduct site surveys, design heat pump systems, and provide quotations with strong customer facing support. You will be based in/around East England with travel to installations, training provided, and a company car on offer.

You will oversee MCS projects, ensure Building Regulations compliance, and support installers with technical expertise. The role demands practical field experience and a consultative approach to customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical sales for renewables or HVAC
• Ability to translate technical data for customers
• Strong on-site survey and design capability

Responsibilities

• Conducting technical site surveys and agreeing system specifications
• Producing on-site quotations and commissioning Air Source Heat Pump systems
• Ensuring subcontracted installations meet MCS standards and Building Regulations
• Providing remote technical support and maintaining installer relationships
• Travel and occasional overnight stays in East England areas
