Job summary

RES, part of the Wolseley Group, is seeking a Field Based Technical Sales Engineer covering East England. You will conduct site surveys, design heat pump systems, prepare quotations, and oversee installations to ensure MCS and Building Regulations compliance.

We seek a consultative, technically skilled professional with HVAC experience and heat pump design knowledge, willing to travel. The role includes a company car, comprehensive benefits, and a clear path for career development.

Qualifications

• Must have HVAC/installations experience and a consultative approach.
• Evidence of heat pump design capability and commissioning.
• Knowledge of MCS standards and building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site surveys and agree system specs with installers and homeowners.
• Produce on-site quotations and commission heat pump systems.
• Complete system handovers and resolve technical issues via remedial visits.
• Act as Nominated Technical Supervisor for regional MCS projects and ensure compliance.
