Job summary

RES Limited is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer for field-based work across East England. You will conduct technical site surveys, design heat pump systems, and prepare on-site quotations, while commissioning and handing over projects to customers.

The role requires knowledge of MCS standards, travel across the region, and strong technical plus consultative skills. A company car and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

Relevant plumbing/heating qualification and heat pump installation experience.
Experience with low-temperature hydraulic design and electrical fault-finding.
Willingness to travel and occasional overnight stays.
Knowledge of MCS standards and Building Regulations.

Responsibilities

Conduct technical site surveys and agree system specifications with installers and homeowners.
Produce room-by-room heat loss calculations, system designs and quotations; manage on-site commissioning.
Act as Nominated Technical Supervisor for regional MCS projects and ensure compliance.
Provide phone-based and remote technical support and maintain relationships with installers.
