Job summary

Circet IRE & UK is hiring for a field-based Fibre Installation Technician to support the deployment and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure across the UK. You will survey, install, test and troubleshoot fibre lines, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions while delivering high-quality customer service.

The role requires physical fitness, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work with residents and third-party stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Physically demanding outdoor work, with potential adverse weather
• Full clean UK manual driving licence required
• DBS check required
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills across technical levels
• Telecoms experience preferred; full training provided for the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Organise daily and weekly work schedule to ensure timely fibre installations and repairs
• Perform full fibre installations including surveying, testing, and troubleshooting
• Conduct site inspections to assess feasibility and provide risk assessments
• Maintain high standards of customer service with residents, clients, and stakeholders
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate to improve performance and customer experience
• Adhere to safety standards and proactively identify risks in the field
• Resolve client complaints promptly and professionally
• Work with management to adapt to changing business needs
