Job summary

Circet in Peebles is hiring a Service Delivery Technician to install and service fibre networks. You will survey, test, troubleshoot, and install fibres while staying aligned with client expectations. The role requires outdoor, physically demanding work and strong customer service in a dynamic environment.

Training is provided for telecoms experience; a valid UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are essential. Expect 40 hours per week with occasional Saturdays and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of demanding outdoor work in all weather.
• Valid UK manual driving licence (full).
• Basic DBS check may be required.
• Strong communication with customers at all levels.
• Telecoms experience preferred; training provided for right candidate.
• Good health and safety practices understood.
• Valid right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Organise daily and weekly work schedule for fibre installations and repairs.
• Work outdoors in physically demanding conditions and weather variances.
• Maintain high standards of customer service with residents and clients.
• Perform full fibre installations, surveying, testing and troubleshooting.
• Conduct site inspections and provide risk assessments for safety compliance.
• Participate in team meetings and provide feedback to improve performance.
• Adhere to Circet safety standards and address potential risks.
• Resolve client complaints professionally and maintain relationships.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
