Job summary

Circet IRE & UK is seeking a hands-on Fibre Installation Technician to join our team in the UK. The role involves outdoor fibre work, surveying, testing and troubleshooting to meet client expectations and quality standards.

You will operate across different sites, maintain exemplary customer service, and adhere to safety procedures while collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to deliver reliable connectivity solutions.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of demanding outdoor work, including in varying weather conditions.
• Full UK manual driving licence required and must be valid.
• Basic Disclosure (DBS) check required.
• Excellent communication skills across all stakeholder levels, both residential and professional.
• Telecoms experience is preferred; comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Organise daily and weekly work schedule to deliver fibre installations and repairs aligning with client expectations.
• Work outdoors in physically demanding conditions and complete multiple installations per day.
• Maintain high standards of customer service in interactions with residents, clients and third parties.
• Perform full fibre installations, including surveying, testing and troubleshooting.
• Conduct site inspections to assess feasibility and provide risk assessments while ensuring safety compliance.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues and managers to improve performance.
• Adhere to Circet safety standards and proactively identify risks.
• Resolve client and customer complaints promptly while maintaining relationships.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
