Job description

Location: Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire NG24 4EB

Shifts: Full time, 35 hour contract (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)

Pay Rate: £12.21 - £12.47 per hour (increasing to £12.50 - £12.76 per hour on 1st of December) (dependent on qualifications)

Role Overview
  • Support adults with various needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI and mental health, helping them flourish in a place they call home.
  • Empower the people we support to be ambitious and live fulfilled lives.
  • Provide high‑quality support tailored to people’s needs, including activities like cooking, art, listening to music, and outings for movies and food.
  • Deliver personal care, including continence support, health and medication assistance, handling personal possessions, finances and documents, and shopping, ensuring good levels of personal and environmental hygiene.
  • Follow procedures to ensure consistent, safe, and reliable care and support.
Key Skills and Experience
Essential
  • Good general education.
  • Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion to make a difference.
  • Commitment to the aims and objectives of the home and of ivolve.
  • Satisfactory Police Check and check against the ISA List (where applicable).
  • Commitment to undertake training and development.
Desirable
  • RQF Level 2 or above in social care.
  • Previous experience within a social care setting.
  • Knowledge and commitment regarding Equal Opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory frameworks.
  • Confident IT user.
