Female Support Worker

Location: Eastbourne

Employment status: employed

Hours per week: Tuesday 10:30am - 2:00pm; Wednesday 09:30am-12:30pm; Sunday 9:00am-11:00am or 10:00am - 11:00am

Drivers licence required: Yes; Own vehicle needed: Yes

Hourly pay: £18 per hour, £27 on bank holidays

PA required to support a female with physical and mental health disabilities. PA will support individual to live independently and proactively, to maintain overall well‑being as part of a team of support workers.

Due to medical appointments shift times may be subject to change so a degree of flexibility is desirable with notice.

  • Attendance at meetings, physio, participation at dog training classes, liaising with care team, attending care team meetings, accurate record‑keeping, account‑keeping, participation with physio and hydrotherapy etc.
  • Liaising with ITU team and being part of critical care support plan, and support meetings

  • It is essential that the applicant has full UK Driving Licence and has access to their own vehicle

  • As part of the job the successful applicant may subject to funding undertake a level 3 Health and Social Care Diploma as part of their employment
Additional requirements
  • Non‑smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
  • No allergy to dogs (or cats)
  • Car for transport to dog training sessions/walks/work purposes (mileage covered)
