We are on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands‑on Female Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people! Our residential service in Langport looks out over the Somerset levels. Family‑orientated, this beautiful old house has a warm and welcoming feel about it. We enable individuals with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy and complex care needs including visual impairments. You can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local community including the pub and local shops and having fun by joining in with all manner of different activities. This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday. We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should ideally hold a full UK driving licence, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism and people who have experienced trauma.
