Job description

ColdpieceFarm is a family run farm situated 10 minutes south of Reading. The grounds consist of a mixture woodland and grassland. The river Whitewater runs through the estate.

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Farm Manager to oversee the day to day running of our farm. The ideal candidate will have practical agricultural experience, strong leadership skills and a broad understanding of modern farming techniques, be mechanically minded and proficient in business management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and coordinate daily farm activities.
• Ensure all farm machinery is maintained and serviced.
• Hire, train and supervise farm workers.
• Ensure all farming activities comply with ongoing government schemes/initiatives.
