One position is for a junior to mid-level lawyer while the other is for a more senior role. Both roles require managing Legal Aid files, providing outstanding legal advice, and engaging directly with clients to meet their expectations. Qualifications

Job description

Law firm in Bristol, well-regarded for the work it does in Family law is looking to recruit 2 Family lawyers to their Private Law Children and Domestic Abuse team – one of 0 to 3 and the other of 4 or more years’ PQE. For the more senior role, the successful candidate will manage a caseload of Legal Aid and private files, dealing effectively with cases and transactions, as well as building trust and credibility with clients thro ugh managing client expectations regarding options, outcomes, risk and timescales.

For the junior to mid-level role, the successful candidate will manage a caseload of Legal Aid files (under an appropriate level of Partner supervision), dealing effectively with cases and transactions. You will also deal directly with clients to take instructions and ensure full understanding in order to deliver on client expectations, as well as working closely with partners and senior lawyers to develop client relationship skills. If you are newly-qualified you will have undertaken a seat in Family law. If you are already qualified, then you will have had at least some experience of Private Law Children and/or Domestic Abuse. Both appointees will consistently deliver a high standard of legal advice to clients in a commercially astute manner and always deliver outstanding client service. You will also be required to assist with the marketing of the department’s services and undertake business development activities to build on the firm and team’s reputation for excellence.
