Job summary

A health service provider is seeking a Clinical / Counselling Psychologist or Family Intervention Worker in Waltham Forest to deliver Family Interventions for individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis. This role involves supervision of training, teaching roles, and supporting families and carers. Ideal candidates will have relevant qualifications in psychology and experience within mental health, particularly in family settings. A generous High Cost Area Supplement is included, along with a commitment to staff wellbeing and development.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with families and carers in complex mental health services.
  • Knowledge of Family Intervention and its application in psychosis.
  • Commitment to engaging with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and consultation for Family Intervention training.
  • Plan and evaluate education and support programmes for carers.
  • Participate in service development and clinical governance.

Education

Doctoral level qualification in clinical or counselling psychology
Registered with HCPC as Practitioner Psychologist
