As a Fall Protection Sales Specialist for the Personal Safety Division, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Achieving sales and margin targets quarterly, under an annual sales plan
  • Identifying and winning opportunities as required under sales plan
  • Working with end customers to advise and promote 3M Fall Protection Solutions
  • Managing the sales pipeline with the Distributor network through effective relationships and strong communication
  • Collaborating with 3M technical teams to ensure a high level of on‑site support where required
Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the Fall Protection market is essential.
  • Ability to communicate تضم at all levels of the organization both externally and internally and to build excellent customer relationships.
  • A self‑starter/self‑motivated with a drive to succeed with the ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication glass, negotiation and presentation skills – written and verbal.
  • Competitive & proactive instinct – takes initiative on issues and challenges to find optimum solutions.
  • Tenacious, resilient – ability to navigate through conflict and challenges towards positive outcome, retaining focus and perspective.
  • Must be confident and capable of working at heights.
Additional knowledge / nice‑to‑have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Have a passion for sales and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
  • Basic knowledge of the related EN standards would be preferable
  • Ability to develop 3M brand loyalty across end customers and Distributors
  • Ability to ensure accurate communication of product updates and development
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Numerate and proficient with chrysanthemums analysis and manipulation of data
  • Proficient in use of IT tools, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Job specifics:

Travel: Field based sales role with expectation to travel across the territory up to 75%

The job requires working at heights and candidates must be capable and confident of such ability

Sales Area: North East of England, Cumbria & Scotland – UK

Ideal candidate location: Within the defined territory
